Josiah Campbell

I once heard it said “That we are all running from something, or towards something” and that certainly applies to me and my life. I’m running away from a history of obesity and heart disease and by losing nearly 100 pounds I’ve turned my quickly failing health around, and now I’m hopefully running towards being a better person, father and husband. Running and exercise has quite literally saved my life.

I was initially drawn to Live Uncommon because of their core values:

• Family
• Work Ethic
• Fitness & Health
• Giving Back
• Balance
• Excellence

This is what these values mean to me in my life:

Family – My family is incredibly important to me, especially my 2 boys whom I hope I’m setting the right example for everyday.

Work Ethic – I believe in working hard to achieve your goals.

Fitness & Health – Should be a cornerstone of everyone’s lifestyle.

Giving Back – Part of being thankful for what you have is giving back to the need of others.

Balance – True harmony in life comes from having a healthy, well rounded and balanced life.

Excellence – Is not defined solely in the outcome of an event, but what you did to obtain that goal win, lose or draw.

What is The Revolution? Quite simply I AM! And so are you, help me raise $700 towards an even bigger goal of $100,000 to be donated to some truly worthy causes.

Here are the charities that we will be raising money for:

CASI: Center for Active Seniors...provides services that meet the needs of older adults and fosters respect, dignity and quality of life.
Project Renewal: To be a positive presence for the children and families in our low income neighborhood of Davenport, Iowa.
Race For the Cure: Susan G. Komen...Breast Cancer
Moonlight Chase: Helping support the Scott County Library, Eldridge Volunteer Fire department, trees forever, the Food pantry and more...
OUCH: Wound Reach Foundation, Wound Care, Research Education And Clinical Health.
Q.C. Marathon: Us & Too (Prostate Cancer Education & Support), Erika Kate (Children with heart disease)

Thank you,
Josiah
